Have you heard of the three Greek impossibilities? Is it true that the rule was you could only use an unmarked straight edge and a compass?
Is a string an unmarked straightedge AND a compass. I think I remember it is. However, it is unique in that this straightedge can be folded in half, while the compass function calls for the string to remain straight. That's opposite of our traditional wooden ruler straightedge and our bendable two pointed compass.
Hmmm. Can you figure it out? (=
