A Conversation for Wheat Beer

Objection, your honor!

Jeremy (trying to find his way back to dinner)

Great Article!

(What else would we have expected from Bossel, King of Scouts).

There's only one minor correction: I have seen Weizenbier sold in cans. On the other hand, no serious expert would call that brews 'Weizenbier'. Just like wine in cans.

Yes, there *is* wheat beer in cans, and you can't really call it a beer. I contacted the SubEd here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/F61011?thread=127761#p1151661 but didn't get around to check whether the changes made it into the entry.. "King of Scouts" ... too much honour! :-)

Wheat beer in cans is like Ale in cans, to much flavour for too poor a commodity. Oh, and it tastes disgusting.
From the cans that is, not the wheat beer itself, which I happen to like a jar or two too many of.

Oh all right then, it is a brand name, but a very good one. I don't know where you live, but if its near London, then have you tried any of the Bierodromes, they specialise in Belgium beer, a lot of which is wheat beer!!!!!!!!!

They serve big glasses and at big percentages of alcohol, if you can take it, which I can't!!!!!!!!!

Oh, then I'm perhaps closer to the source than to your well. I should have known the name when I was in London for the h2g2 meet!

Hey folks, have you ever tasted real bavarian beer? No? Then hurry up and do it! If you ever come to Germany, theres a little town near Nuremberg called Titting. There they brew the best Weizen around the world. You don't know what you are missing!
