A Conversation for Sedgwick Geological Trail

The town that the trail is near is called Sedbergh, and it's in Cumbria, not Yorkshire. The boundary was moved in 1974 and a number of people have been trying to get it moved back ever since (without the aid of an SEP!). Your directions seem a bit vague, so here goes. Head out of Sedbergh on the A684 for Hawes. About 2 miles out of town the road crosses a cattle grid onto Langstone Fell (not Common) at the top of which is a car park. Looking back down to Sedbergh from there, the trail is down the fell, by the river on your right hand side.
Guess where i'm from! (though I haven't been up there for ages what with this Foot and Mouth thing)
