There's a typo in this Entry - near the start of the technical explanation about |X|, it says |X| ≤ |N|, which I assume should be |X| < |N|, which would of course produce |X| > |N|.

Nice Entry otherwise smiley - smiley

I think that 'le' is correct - it should give a 'less than or equal to' sign, which is correct for the maths, but isn't available on some computers.

I didn't know that was a standard entity... it certainly doesn't show up on here anyway, and I'm currently using a fairly standard Windows 98 box.

I dont think it works on Netscape, but does on IEs I've tried it on.

Hmm, so it does...

I therefore don't like it. But I'm just a fussy one.

Yeah, well making the math precise without using the symbol would be cumbersome smiley - shrug

What about using >= ?

Could do I guess. But then not only am I using notation that may not be familiar, its not even standard mathematical notation. Maybe there should be a note somewhere about the problem?

There could be a footnote explaining it the first time it is used. Also, >= is standard programming notation in many languages.

Firefox, Win XP. Symbol appears fine. But I could add a footnote if you think it's a good idea.
