I think the problem of our times sometimes is, that "Anything goes" So you can say what you like, it´s all a matter of what you want.

Well, to put it in a long sentence: to show the world how cool you are using the word bisexual, associating it with yourself, even considered doing it, but to be so damm cool not do it, you're so cool to the point of absolute zero you admit doing it the old (heterosexual) way.
