A Conversation for Immune System Maintenance
Porridge may be made from wheat

This is an excellent article. It is clear and well-written.
The advice to temporarily abolish caffeine, alcohol,
wheat, and cows' milk from the diet makes sense for
people who are showing signs of compromised
immune systems.
There's just one little word that might need clarification.
That word is "porridge," as in
"An alternative for breakfast is good old fashioned porridge."
I consulted two dictionaries ("Random House" and "American
Heritage.") Under the entry "porridge," they listed the ingre-
dients as "oatmeal or other meal." The Kansas Wheat
Commission has a website featuring the porridge that
Goldilocks ate. I think they are assuming Goldilocks
ate porridge made from wheat.
If someone is trying to avoid wheat products, then porridge
made from oats would be the safer bet.
