looking after the immune system is a great topic, but pleeze don't every rich westerner in the world buy bottles of simple water every day without any mention of recycling or sustainabilitysmiley - cross

Many of us are lucky enough to have pretty good tapwater; the thought of everyone getting their water each day from bottles of stuff that has been carted halfway across the continent in big trucks, glugged into bottles that require a lot of energy even to recycle them, then carted off halfway round the country again in the biggest lorries (water is just about the heaviest foodstuff to transport) - what kind of state would the world be in if everyone did this every time they wanted a drink? smiley - cry and how would our immune systems feel then? lemmesee: 18,000 or so H2g2 Researchers... 365 days a year... two litres a day... that's a lorra bottlesmiley - ill

John the gardener says, "Free Tibet!"

That's a good point. We should also consider the health of the planet when we think of our own health. Clean water and clean air should be the birthright of evey occupant of our planet.smiley - earth

According to the official stats, 90273 potential bottle buyers have registered since the dawn of h2g2. Tha's, as you say, a lorra bo'les.
