The argument for "health" (ie not eating fatty meats) may be a reason for the food laws, but look at shellfish, shellfish is incredibly good for you. Why that removal?

Did you know that shellfish is very high in cholesterol? Also, if not properly cleaned it could be very toxic and/or deadly. Another thing to cosider is that all shellfish are bottom feeders. They eat refuse and excrements of others.
