First: Great entry!
I love that film! Dead Man. As surreal as some scenes are, I do think that the picture of that Western city showm by Jarmusch is a lot more realistic than in any John Wayne movie.
IT's a honest, beautiful film ful of humour. And with a Johnny Depp as his very best.

Yeah, it's a great one. I like the scene where's he going out west to Machine, and the passengers on the train just get more and more coarse and rough. Very much more like the West as it actually was, without all the nonsense of John Wayne-style movies.

"Dead Man" certainly is one of my favourite movies ever!

Well, you should totally read the 'Acid Western' link on the side, since it's one of the best essays I've ever read about the film and all the stuff inside it.
