I think this is a very good example of how the guide can explain things without ending up as just another encyclopaedia. My own knowledge of mitochondria is rather dated by now, and I found this a very good refresher. A protein is a blob that can do stuff? Electrons buzzing around like angry hornets? ADP is a flat battery? That vivid language really helps the explanation to stick.
So congratulations to scaryfish on a really readable entry!
