A Conversation for How Shakespeare Gave a Name to Irish Pipes
John McCormack singing Macushla

Thank you for posting that Galaxy Babe! This link was put in my personal version A53246153 to illustrate the Irish term of endearment Macushla (or Acushla) -- 'my pulse' -- quite literally 'my heart-throb'.
Cuisle means pulse, forearm (especially of a horse), and pipe. The modern Department of Education dictionary translates 'Cuisleannaigh' as flautists or wind-instrumentalists in general.
