This was so true to life of my own late Lab - pity you didn't warn people about eating doors though!! When ours was a few weeks old, we met a couple who were enchanted with Scamp. The lady said, "you do realise he will chew wood for the first couple of years" What? She was well out - three years, table legs, chair legs, the door between the kitchen and the hall had to be covered with sheet metal; as he had gone all the way through it.

We loved him to bits for fourteen years, before he developed a tumour and had to be visited by our Vet.
