I was born and raised in Hastings but now reside in Melbourne. I haven't seen Eastbourne in 30 years but it's nice to know that absolutely nothing has changed! (Except the ubiquitous McDonalds). That part of Sussex is redolent of fish and chips in the few long summer days and I myself prefer pebble beaches. Thanks for the entry!.

Yeahright. I guess Eastbourne has its own unique charms which no doubt I will begin to appreciate more when I leave for Sheffield in a few weeks. I was thinking of doing one about Hastings next but there already is one. I work in Hastings, or St Leonards on sea to be precise, and i used to live there. Maybe I'll do a bit on the dubious good points of St Leonards instead.

Eastbourne does have a burger king too. Its on the Pier and is listed as an "attraction". Teens who havent discovered smack or glue yet can be seen there.
