how sad no-one could be bothered 2 reply 2 your subject. i work in a rehabilitation centre 4 brain injured people,i too had a stroke at an early age, now im lucky enough 2 be able 2 help,and have a laugh with, the maddest,sweetest poor sods that life has dealt a crap hand to. no-one knows what its like do they.

I do not wish for anyone to know wht it's like! Although technically still an hemiplegic my activities are as follows: Driving, cycling, singing (bass in 2 choirs), T'ai Chi, birdwatching, to name but a few. All I need now is a job!

i had mine at 38 and a brain operation.it was an eye opener for me.I found i had to help myself and fight for recovey,lack of understanding and rehab was non excisting.
