Walk between two signers

Post 1

Amusingly, I was told that walking between two signers as if nothing* was the normal thing to do. This may be German deaf community etiquette though.

What is considered rude is to interrupt the conversation in order to warn that you will be passing** (like, duh), or to duck and try not to obscure the signing smiley - silly Or even to make an obvious detour around the two signers.

* that is, no hopping and wrigling in that strange fashion that people sometimes use when crossing a street outside zebras in order to show drivers that they are making an effort to go faster, without actually achieving a greater speed.
