h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

At the risk of repeating myself I'd like to point out that I don't really care what advertisements I see at the top of the h2g2 screen, but I'd wish that they'd bring the charity banners back. When I first came to this site a few months ago the top of every page either mentioned something about dying Gorrillas (sp?) or the "drop the debt" campaign that had to do with Africa. I understand full well that the TDV can't support this forever without a source of income or at least a way to break even, and I'm sure that iCollector and LastMinute are helping out tremendously towards that goal, but it'd be nice if we occasionally saw the charity banners again where we've been seeing trips to Tahiti and Eddie Irvine's racing jacket. That's my rant for the morning, now I'm logging out and getting ready to go home for the hollidays

BTW: I agree with IW's comments. Maybe those charity banners could get a page in h2g2 detailing their cause with their ad permanently over top?
