Well Done! ...An elegant solution to an age old problem.
I'm afraid that I have another issue with taps, or rather their manufacturers. You see I'm a tap dancer of many years and my feet testify to the complete disregard that plumbing manufacturers have for my profession. There are very few flat surface taps ; most of them are knobbly, rounded or pointed and not even wearing hob-nailed boots can withstand a good Friday night's tap dancing (or tap ceilidh as we call it).
So if Armitage Shanks or anybody out there can help save our devotees from premature social work intervention, please post a message.
ps We tap dancers absolutely refute the hypothesis that we are the main cause of dripping taps.

Thanks Naebody.
A tap-activated tap would be a huge seller. It does seem daft having the controls for your bath right at your feet... and then not putting pedals on them.
