Thanks for those ideas. I neither own or intend to own a toaster and have, up until now walked droolingly past the pop tarts in the supermaarket. I'm going to buy some pop tarts (and a dishwasher) first thing tomorrow!!

Brilliant tips. I only tried a pop tart once and set it on fire...the pan idea, and the dishwasher idea sounds much better, and as for the sunny window-sill, excellent. I intend to write a guide on the uses of window-sills at some point and will add this to my list.

My friend hates eating cold pop-tarts at camp...hmm...maybe I can suggest throwing the package into the water we heat up for dishwater next time...
