Apart from the parodies and amusing bits of Keillor's News From Lake Woebegon, he also gets serious and sad and bittersweet, especially in those News From segments at the end. They say humor is more difficult than drama in some ways, but I bet Keillor could write some excellent drame if he set his mind to it.
