Iread the earlier artical about crowdsurfing ,and it seemed to miss the most important although least mentioned or thought of danger of the activity . not being dropped or trampled but groped or fondled ,molested .first preperation a women should take b4 deciding to ride the crowd dosnt start at the concert but at home making sure everythings as innaccessible as possible skirts short or baggy shorts are a deffinite no unless you want to tell the perverse crowds of men yess ive seen more cases of unwanted touching from below than imaginable yet still i see more females not care until theyre airborne and the grabbing has already commenced

Is groping really the most important danger of crowd surfing? Personally I'd rather have someone give me a bit of a grope than be dropped on a concrete floor from seven feet in the air or trampled to death by hordes of screaming fans.

Secondly, if you're not comfortable with people touching you then don't go crowd surfing. In fact if you're overly protective of your personal space then what are you doing at a rock concert in the first place?

Finally, no one prepares in advance to go crowd surfing. That's kinda the point. It's a spontaneous act done in the spur of the moment. If we were thinking rationally enough to consider if we were dressed appropriately we'd probably also consider the very real chance of being dropped on our heads and not do it.
