Spring Haiku 1
Old chill wind pauses
To catch its breath, pushed aside
By a young spring breeze
White dappled cow hide
Lies on early March pastures
Last snow melts away
Morning sun creeps in
Refracted through dewdrops on
The forest’s leaf-mould
Earthy scents abound
Wafted on a shy Spring breeze
Laced with forest green
