When I lived in Cleethorpes a very nice young couple established a butterfly house - it also had big scary spiders. I assume that this has since been expanded to create "The Jungle".
It was close to the boating lake and very popular even then although I think they struggled to make a financial success of it in the early days (around 1987/8). I can't remember their names now but the young woman was a member of the Humberside Co-operative Development Agency at the same time as me.
Do you mind telling me how you get all those super pictures on your "space"?

Yes, it is, and believe it or not I used to work with Liz as well, at Barclays Bank
She was Liz Fitchett (married name) married to Ralph.
I can't recall the name of the placebut I loved it, I know they were still there in 1993, because she was on the till (I was expecting my last young 'un) and she was so thrilled to see me that she let us in for nothing. That was the last time I saw her, I heard they moved abroad.

The pictures are mine, they were uploaded to the BBC servers because I wrote the entries (ergo, you write something, supply a photo, then you get the code to use the photo as you wish). If you want the code for any of my pictures just ask, I don't mind sharing

The BBC has a picture library with "BLOBs" which you can decorate your Personal Space with. Click C809 you get the code by the picture, just copy & paste it into your "edit page" facility. Remember to change from plain to "Guide ML" or the code will not work, then click "Update".

You don't have to write an Entry to get a photo on the servers, you can supply a (suitable) photo for an already-edited entry (which doesn't already sport one) via the <./>photographers</.> eg here is the page of photos I have supplied: A20326088
