Even since 9/11 there has been a nasty swell in people putting the American flag on their cars. Some people are so unimaginative that they will actually put two or more of the same flag bumpersticker on their cars. Sadly no one has told them that you don't become more American by having multiple flag stickers. I sure hope this fad would die off. I am American, but do I really need to flash it to other people all the time? And the stupidest part is that this is happening in America. It's like wearing a shirt of the band that you are seeing in concert. I know where I am, I don't need to be reminded.
