A Conversation for Great Walks
North Woolwich to Canary Wharf
Peta Started conversation Jan 23, 2001
I was coming back from a party and had to walk from North Woolwich, along by City Airport and past the Tate and Lyle factory. Really abandoned and derelict area. You then cross the bridge right in front of the Dome, there's a wonderful view at night, and can then follow the road into Canary Wharf. It's a great walk, because one area is abandoned and shabby and it contrasts wonderfully with the shiny new plastic wrapped Canary Wharf buildings....
