I like the content and it has some useful stuff. Good point about your brain being your most important survival tool. However, I think that knife should come at the top of the list of survival things as a knife is a tool to make other tools and you can survive just about anywhere with a knife (and a towel of course...)

thanks for your comment to my Entry. I agree with you that a knife is one of the most important tools (depending on the situation). But the Ten Essentials are not sorted in any ranking order. If you're out in the cold, you may be very willing to trade in your survival knife for an additional piece of clothing and a hot soup
