Missing Persons

h2g2 is a wonderful community, and a great way to make new friends. But if you've lost touch with an old friend or relation, they may be roaming the halls of the Guide without you even knowing they are there.
How can you find them? The answer is to pop along to Missing Persons and let them know they are lost! Pegasus, who founded the Missing Persons page, just requires a few details to post up. Firstly, you must provide a name (or nickname) for the person you are seeking, which they will recognise themselves by. The town/country where they lived and how you knew them (e.g. school, work, family connection, etc.) are also useful. Your h2g2 homepage will be linked to for them to get in touch with you, but if you can provide further details, it may improve your chances of being contacted. Your proper name, e-mail address and instant messaging service can all be included, but these are entirely optional.
Are you missing? Don't forget to check the Missing Persons page to see if someone is looking for you. And we'd love to hear about it when you do get re-united.
With an ever-growing international community, and the emergence of WAP, The Hitchhikers' Guide to the Galaxy (Earth Edition) is the ideal place to find friends - old as well as new.
