When the London College of Music moved from the middle of London out into Ealing, they had to hire a specialist firm to move the Steinway Grand out of the (upstairs) concert hall. The firm couldn't get it through the doorway so they removed the front window and lifted it out with a crane - and dropped it twenty feet onto the pavement.
There wasn't much left. I think the neglected school pianos sound lucky, in a way.
And back come the pianos....

.....ROLAND is most unique by far............
not only is it unique, it doesn't need tuning
