Sho - employed again!

but I noticed that when I was recently abroad for 1 week, I lost weight - and following the diet which I ate there I have lost more and kept it off. It is high fibre, and has the advantage of keeping your bowels "regular".
And the wonder diet? Korean food. It works in one of two ways:
1. you love it and eat lots. It's high-fibre, low-fat so you lose weight
2. you hate it and you eat very little. You lose weight (be careful though!)
It's full of garlic which is good for your blood-cholesterol too.
And it's full of ginger and chilli, but I can't remember what they're good for.
Veggies also don't have to starve, since it doesn't use much in the way of meat, eggs, fish etc.

Ginger is a traditional and very soothing remedy for digestive problems and Chili peppers contain a chemical that relieves pain and boosts the immune system. (or so I'm told.)

Chilli is also eaten in large quantities in places like Mexico, where a large amount of their protein comes from beans rather than meat. Something in the chilli helps the body to break down the protein into a useable form, which it otherwise wouldn't be able to do.
