Some points -
1) Blu-Tack can be completely dissolved in petrol. In theory, this method can be used in conjunction with filtration and evaporation to reclaim large quantities of heavily soiled, gritty Blu-Tack.
2) Blu-Tack is vital in a computer workshop - a small strip on the workbench can be used as a repository for small screws, while a piece on a screw head can be used to hold it on the end of the screwdriver without resorting to the use of magnetic screwdrivers, which can be hazardous near disks.
2) There exists a stronger, more resiliant variety called "Plant Tack" which is green in colour, and used to attach house plants to bamboo canes etc. There are also clones, such as "Pritt Buddies" (Pink) and a white variety whose name escapes me.
