John Aielli used to play her records all the time on Eklektikos. They truly were awful - warbling, off-key, but definitely heartfelt.

I assume you mean the KUT 90.5 radio station in Austin, TX right? (Which I note celebrates its 50th birthday tomorrow - 28th)
