Every pro footballer should know the rules and play to them.
At the time there was a joke doing the rounds that the difference between posh and becks is that posh didn't kick back when taken from behind...
Equally, much was made of gazza's stupidity in '90, difference being that becks largely got over it and gazza despite occasional moments of brilliance began a slow decline into the bottle. Once again, fast forward to shrek vs. portugal. The jury's still out, but will our current hero/villain sort out his discipline at national level?
