Hours and hours are spent on each piece of Indian music in order to achieve artistic perfection. Unfortunately, no artist has ever managed to produce Indian music that doesn't go 'Jangly Jangly' at regular intervals.
A similar effect is achieved by feeding morris dancers ultra-hot curry and tying assorted stringed instruments round their heads.

Its quite hard to appreciate any talk of a quest for musical perfection once you have thrown yourself onto a packed Indian Bus with a tinny, small but surprisingly raspingly loud speaker blaring out Hindi Pop directly into your complaining ears. Its feels like flossing with a guitar string.
My Dad used to Morris Dance - don't tell anyone.
