It might be of interest that the official launch of h2g2 took place in the British Library during a live Tomorrow's World broadcast.

Mildly diverting, I suppose. That must have been quite soon after the BL first opened to readers. My h2g2 trivia is a bit shaky, but I guess the launch must have been around Spring '99?
Or not...
