BTW, have you read Carmilla by Sheridan leFanu? That´s a classic gothic vampire novel. Read it many years ago in a swedish magazine called "Jules Verne Magasinet", that covers fantasy, SF, gothic tales and much more.
I think Carmilla still is available. It´s well worth reading.
