Grant intercepted the message and sent a reply:
"OLD CARY GRANT FINE. HOW YOU?"

Enjoyable read. For all his fame, I think it says a lot about the man to hear someone who knew him say you'd have to go a long way to find any serious person with a bad word to say about him (just serious persons?!? 
). All adds up to not a bad life's work anyway.
