Nice article about a great, but temperamental driver.Just wish there were a few more drivers like him on the Grand Prix circuit today.

Ahhh the great Aryton Senna springs to mind, he decked Eddie Irvine for cutting him up at a corner, I guess the only one of the Modern breed that comes slightly close is JP Montoya

Would agree to a certain degree,Reefgirl, but I think Jacques Villeneuve would give Montoya a run for his money in the fisticuffs stakes.

I Know Villeneuve is a pillock on the track but I didn't think he was into physical violence, he plays head games with his team mates

Mind games are just as effective as fisticuffs,Reefgirl.Would agree that Villeneuve is something of a pillock, though.Thinks he's the great "I am" just because his late father,Giles, was a damn fine racer.
As an aside to the topic, are you a Rolling Stones fan seeing as you've included lyrics from Sympathy For The Devil in your name?

Yes I am A Stones fan. I think you're right about Villeneuve, Gilles was one of the great "Never to be world champion" racers and Jacques had to go one better

Have you noticed that Villeneuve hasn't done much except go backwards, metaphorically speaking, since winning his championship.

I had heard that too, I'm sure he made noises about returning to Indy Car but I don't think they wanted him back either
Key: Complain about this post
