SAS Gulf War

Your summary of the role of the SAS patrol Bravo Two Zero in the Gulf War is inaccurate. Michael Asher has proved that far from 'leaving 200 Iraqi dead in their wake,' the patrol inflicted no Iraqi casualties whatsoever. Not only has he spoken to several Iraqi eye witnesses, but has also interviewed those present at the official debrief in front of the entire SAS Regiment in which 'McNab' and 'Ryan' did not mention any casualties, nor any major contact with Iraqi troops. These false stories are repeated over and over and get accepted as fact, when they are only myth.

The whole of the gulf war was a disaster going against that of which the SAS was set up to do they were sent in with out a specific objective attacking as the oppurtunity arose and in large groups this was not what the SAS were set up to do

I must agree totally to the article about Bravo Two Zero, because i hav just read Chris Ryans book about the experience in Iraq, a very good book too, and it only mentions 1 or 2 casualties, but there wasn't any actual debriefing. But there was also a contact with some Iraqies, when they were all stationed together in a wadi, a couple of days after being deployed, according to Ryan.
