Hey! A fellow Thingite
! All mathematics is beautiful, except the very basic arithmetic forced on kids at high school and statistical mathematics! In my opinion these are what gives maths such a bad name... if everyone could discover the beauty of pure mathematics like I have I'm sure it would be almost as popular as sex!

I think maths was spoiled for me because my mother is a maths teacher and I was taught it very badly...
I can't get over maths being a chore and a means to an end...
Still, I think sex gives maths (even in its most beatiful form) a good run for its money!

My dad's a maths teacher and I've still enjoyed maths, probably coz he's never given me any lessons! Maths can, however only be compared to sex by the type of people who constantly use hyperbolic language ie me!
