The term 'unique' is very important in mathematics.
The term 'unique' has a precise definition in mathematical logic (in the First Order Theory Of Equality)
An object x is unique with respect to a property P if there is exactly one object (i.e. x) with property P, i.e:
1. x has the property P and
2. If any other object (y) could possibly have property P, then it can be shown that actually y = x.
