What was the weather like when you were there? The last couple of times I have been it was cloudy, and on the summit it was snowing (this was April, I think).

I was there at the end of October and the weather was lovely, it was quite odd to be wearing a T-shirt at that time of year

It always seems to follow me around. I can't remember the last time I went walking in truly nice walking weather (cool and a little breezy, no rain, no hot sun, no snow).

Bad weather can be good weather too though . One walk seemed as if it would be really miserable, as it kept drizzling. Up on the top of the ridge though we saw a brockenspectre , definately made up for the bad weather

A sort of circular rainbow you can get on mountains in the mist. They're great as your shadow gets projected onto the cloud as well, so it's in the middle of a circle of rainbow .

Be careful coming down on side with the scree. Head first is not recommended, and does tend to damage waterproofs and pride. Beats a damaged skull though!
