Tony Blair (Labour Prime Minister) Edinburgh, Scotland; Michael Howard (Conservative) was born in Llanelli, Wales; Charles Kennedy (Liberal Democrat) in Inverness, Scotland; Alex Salmond (Scottish Nationalist Party) in Linlithgow, Scotland and Elfyn Llwyd (Plaid Cymru) in Betws-y-Coed, Wales."
