Chinese vs Western Horoscope

I am a Western Libran and a Chinese Rabbit and seem to conform to both descriptions.
However, my partner is a Western Aquarian and on the cusp of Rat and Ox in the Chinese system. She conforms very much to her Aquarian characteristics, but I do not see her as being very close to either Rat or Ox from the descriptions in this entry.
Our Western signs are very compatible, both being Air signs, but if we went by the Chinese advice, we might not be suited at all.
I think I'll just see how we get on for the NEXT 15 years!
