Storing Garlic

You haven't said anything about storing garlic, Mikey. However, I've just learned that one should never keep garlic in the refrigerator as it will sprout and become bitter.
(Having said that, that is precisely what I've been doing, to no ill effect so far. I live away from home during the week and the local store sells garlic in packs of 2, of which I use one clove/week. So these two garlics last me quite a time).

Don't keep garlic in a fridge in a plastic bag once it has been chopped or crushed. My partner does loads of indin cooking and keeps a load of it in the fridge. Stinks the whole thing, and everything put in the fridge starts to taste garlicy if exposed to the air.
