A Conversation for Driving Etiquette - Spain
Driving in Spain

It is not that difficult. The traffic rules are very similar to any other advanced nation and laws on speeding, parking, drinking, seatbelts, etc etc are much the same as anywhere else.
There are, however a few differences in interpretation and some exemptions. Basically most the normal rules apply unless:
You are important.
You think you are important.
You are in a hurry.
You do not feel like obeying that one at the momet.
There at total exemptions for anything on two wheels and any BMW driver with Madrid registration or red BMWs from anywhere else.
See, simple really.
