h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I am a british person and I've been living in Stavanger in Norway for about three and a half years now.
For those people who don't know Stavanger it is full of roundabouts.
In the UK and you approach a roundabout and there is traffic you stop with your front wheels behind the white line until it is clear to go. Norwegians insist that it is better for them to stop with their back wheels behind the line and their front end sticking out.
I'm also assuming that with it being a small place everyone knows where everyone is going... they must do nobody ever indicates. Turning left or right who knows until they start to turn. Or if the do indicate it is the two flashes and turn.
Pedestrian crossings are fun too. You must be prepared for the person in front to stop suddenly incase the person walking within 50m of the crossing may possibly want to cross. While this is nice for the pedestrian it is shocking if you are the car behind.

Oh and one final thing unless you are on a major road you must giveway to people turning right.. you never know when the will come out of nowhere infront of you
