It is the least I could do. Slurpees have given us, as a society, so much and have asked for so little. I felt it was time to give back to this icy reason for living

sbz, you have really made it possible for me for the first time to understand and love the slurpee. Before I read your entry I was frightened of the slurpee because I had heard the old-wives tale about the diabetic holdup victim who was trapped under the fallen slurpee machine and died from an excess of blood sugar. 
Your authoritative entry has redeemed the slurpee for me.
