A Conversation for Aglets
When the shoelaces are so old the aglet falls off.

If a shoelace is used for a while it can become so worn it is impossible to thread through the eylets. If it is a nylon shoelace you can hold the end over a gas hob for a bit and then roll it in your fingers to make a new one. If it is not nylon (I don't know what the other kind are made of) You can just dip it in a bit of glue or put a tiny bit of duck tape round it (sellotape doesn't work very well).
