I am sad to know about this, but it is a BAD idea to pick 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, on the grounds that jackpot winnings are divided amongst all tickets with the same numbers. Apparently circa 10,000 heroically unimaginative people tick the first six boxes, thus diminishing one's winnings and reducing the rate of return.
For the same reason, it is best to avoid numbers less than 32, which people tend to pick to represent birthdays. There is another theory that people tend to avoid picking consecutive numbers, perceiving them as 'less random'. Therefore consecutive numbers greater than 32 should be picked.
Of course, this strategy relies on other people not using it.

Still, so few win anyway, I could share $10M with a couple of strangers and feel my $1 ticket was a good buy.

I always pick 11111 with a powerball of 1.
The odds are no better or worse, and if I win, I'll be extra famous.
