A Conversation for The Lottery

A profound statement like "You might as well throw your money down the drain" or "Never again - until the next draw comes around"
Makes me realise how selfish some are. I have a weekly £2.00. worth gamble. When I realise that I have not won a penny I think Ah well, at least some one has benefited from my contribution, and believe it or not I almost feel as good as I would if I had won. Just as I feel good every morning I wake up. If its pouring with rain I think to myself thank God for the water, are we not lucky to have it? People in this world are dying from lack of it. Stop one day and stand still, look around and see what we DO have. If you don`t have a penny be happy for those who do.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
