I heard about the closure a couple of years back and bought a few extra bottles. Sadly they will soon be exhausted but I won't be buying anymore. There are plenty of alternatives which are 'locally' produced.

Yes, it's a sad end to a fine tradition. In researching this story, I felt that the decline of this product mirrored the decline of manufacturing industry as a whole. It's only by recording it (and publicising it) that we can perhaps get someone to bring it back again.
